How to Get Along With Your Teacher?

There was something happened in our classes last week. I don’t know what the reason that led problem getting much worse. But I think we have to accept the fact that even though your teacher's a complete strictly, you're better off getting along with him because we are coming for studying not for playing. What is the purpose that we are studying every weekend? It is really important to us because everybody know what we need. Understand that the teacher knows more than you do. Try to get something from him or her. Then we will feel better. After that, I think the problem you concern that will not be a problem anymore.

Communicating with your teacher is a good idea for the problem solving. Everything needs to be discussed before the make a decision on our own. We have to work smartly than work hardly. Make sure we are doing the right thing. It is easy to confuse when we hate the teaching style. I think I will miss the period of the time once I graduated from the school. So, let us throw the problem behind and try to study hardly in the last semester. 

3 Idiots

I saw the movie three idiots last night. It is an India movie. The movie is unique and different from the Hollywood movies. The movie deals with the present education system in India. It shows how India’s best school educating people in the campus. Everyone get better grades is better than gaining knowledge. Ranch is chief actor who does not do the same thing. Mugging up everything is to get the higher scores. He is learning more useful and understanding it. He helps friends to pass the test and get the teacher’s approved within a pan. Finally, he become a school teacher and invented more than 300 items in the world. He teaches lot children who got the same dreams in the beautiful place. The important thing is his friends found him and his girl friends come back to live with him.

This movie is very good realistic story, some of the scenes is so emotional that I could not help crying when I saw it. I remember that I was a senior school student. School is simple and gives me a lot of thoughts. So many memorial things happened just like yesterday. It is so real. 

Santana in Taipei

Santana is a famous and great guitar master in the world. There are so many fans to go to his concert in Taipei. His album is selling more than three billion in total of the world. It is unbelievable. His music accompanies heavy Latin style and blues rock inside. He did not singing for the music, only playing the guitar for the music. The different kinds of Santana’s music include the Samba, Funk, Raggae, Bossa-Nova and rhythm and blues. I think that is Carlos Santana’s best weapon that attractive so many fancy to follow him. I like his music very much; the song “Black Magic Woman” is my favorite one.

I was so frustrated that I could not to join the concert in Taipei because of the classes. I know him when I was a junior high school student. I remember that the entertainment news were few in that time. We need to order the special ROCK magazine from the record store to update the information monthly. I heard news talking about his wife also appears and play drum in the live performance. That should be very excited because his wife is also very famous too in my age. I hope I have another chance if I could to join the concert next time. If it is true that my dream come true.

Elizabeth Taylor die

     I saw the Newspaper that mentioned Elizabeth Taylor die in Los Angeles on 23 March. It was really shaking me. She was the remarkable and beauty woman because of her career. The movies Butterfield 8 and Cleopatra were two the best representative films of her. I saw a Taylor’s movie long time ago. Taylor was outstanding and unique in her movie career. Her legacy will never fade. 

     She supported so many people who suffer from Hiv/Aids since 80s. Screen success and Aids charity work makes she be a super star in the 20 century. She was never far away from our heart even she died. I am respecting her doing. What a great woman she was in my mind? I think it is hard to find the other actress to replace her in the world. Her spirit will always with us, and her love will live in our hearts forever.

Traffic problem

The traffic problem always bothers the people who live in the city. It is big issues for now and future. It is caused by few main points below. The largest traffic problem is the serious shortage of parking space because of the low quality of bus service. And there is no enough rapid transit system in Taipei; therefore, the most of people buy cars for themselves. It lets Illegal parking further aggravates the traffic situation.

Second problem is the careless pedestrian. Most people like to take short cuts by jaywalking instead of using the crosswalks. This situation is easy for terrible accidents occurred. We can see a lot of accidents from the TV news. Especially the truck hit the people due to the over speed. In addition, careless Taxi drivers also is the another issue. They usually ignore the traffic signals, sound their horns, and change lanes at random. That is why I always leave the TAXI far away.

Bicycling people become more and more in Taiwan. Have you ever ride the bicycle on the road in Taipei? What kind of the feeling that you felt? I heard about the rider complained. Most of the riders feel the road is not safe enough to ride. Even though it is the green activity that government promoted, it bring both driver complained due to no efficiency solution for the people who on the road. It is also the one of the chaos problem of the traffic. 

Siphon tube - Coffee

The coffee becomes popular soft drink in the World. A lot of people want to learn to how to cook a cup of the coffee. You may have never heard of siphon coffee making Therefore, I want to share the experience that I learnt the skill of the coffee for you. This brewing method is the best way to get the best coffee. I will use the vacuum (Siphon tube) coffee maker to explain the steps that what I am doing. I use the Internet guideline for you reference. The steps are as below. The device is working principle is based on expansion and contraction of a gas.

First, Add Freshly Ground Coffee in the up tube, and then insert Siphon Vessel. The bottom globe is heated water up, which creates the water vapor. The vapors push the water up the tube and through the filter to the upper globe. When you see the most of the water go up. Now turn off the heat. After awhile about one minute past, water goes down. The vapor in lower chamber cools down and contracts. That creates vacuum and the suction pulls the liquid back down to the bottom globe. There you go, just few minutes and the coffee is ready. And you're ready to enjoy some fantastic coffee!

Earthquake and Tsunami

We saw the Tsunami swept the Japan on the TV News. It is really scared and terrible devastating. So many people die. The other terrible thing is Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant explosion issue. How much radioactive material has escaped? We do not know. The Japan government evacuates the people who live around 20 kilometer of the nuclear power plant. The radiation leaked is still happening. The News said: Speaking as a scientist, it may be true that 'higher than normal' levels of radiation have been measured in the Tokyo area. There are many people want to leave Tokyo now. The station and airport congested full of the people. 

The other side, rescuing people after a tsunami is particularly difficult into buildings. The debris such as vehicles and other houses is trapped the road that way in. And rescuing people are still trying their best to find some survivors. The latest news we heard, the rescuing teams use listening equipment and heat imaging devices to help them locate any survivors in the rubble. The earthquake and Tsunami remained the massive wound to the people that we can’t afford. We must to respect the nature and keep life safety. 

To Live or to Die?

Should people be forced to stay alive? I don’t think so. It is a really serious problem and pending issue in our society. I read the newspaper and knew that our government is trying to work out on the euthanasia article recently. A lot of people are fighting with the diseases so many years. They forced to remain alive. The pain is like a devil following. The spirit is hard and suffering. So, do you still think euthanasia legalize is wrong? Do you agree the government should give the right to the doctors to kill their patients? These questions are critical. It depends on which position you are. And it is not the questions about the right or wrong.

I think the most important choice is patient’s answer. It should be the correct answer to them. The solution is not just before the end the pain for the patients. The euthanasia is not the only option, it is a solution. If has other methods to be possible way to serve the same purpose. Otherwise, Please do not remove outside the option, it should receive the law to be willing to recognize. 

School Violence

We saw a lot of the bullying news from TV, newspaper and radio. It becomes more and more serious problem in our society. It likes the virus spread quickly even though we try to prevent. The current trend is toward to the world. School bullying is a serious problem. Why people bullying to others? As I know, People bullying other people because they have been bullied before. It is the very bad habit and dangerous activity. How do we solve the problem? 


I think that people bully others because they have problems at their mind so they take they anger on other people, and unfortunately someone might get hurt. It’s time to consider what will keep our schools healthy and safe. We should pay more attention on this issue. Discipline is missing in schools. Educators could take the actions. Use phones to talk to the victim if they need help. Bullying has been going on for a very long time since I was junior high school’s student. And teachers have to take some solutions to exchange the status. 

Yani Tseng won the golf game

     Taiwan’s Yani Tseng won the golf game and crowned the world’s top female golfer, President Ma immediately sent a telegram of congratulations telling the new number one that she is the pride of Taiwan. Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Legislator Tsai Huang-liang said when she asked about hosting an LPGA tournament, she received biting comments from President Ma. Now that she has become No.1 in the world, the Presidential Office wants to put icing on the cake.


     I don’t agree DPP legislator statements. It is not necessary to say that words. It didn’t bring any good suggestions to Taiwan. The Democratic Progressive Party should proposal their policy to have good suggestions. What things that government should do in the future. Which way that can help Taiwan people to get more and more awards in the world. We can become stronger in every sports item.

     This is Taiwan’s bad habits in the public comment. The opposition party always said the bad words in negative criticism that is why the government sticks -in -the -mud all the time. You can find it in all of the Taiwan news. We can see many ridiculous things happen day by day. We always see that kind of news on the TV. I say that we almost crazy in our mind if we were still living in such kind of society. Many parents are complained to our TV station and government. The opposition party should do something to defend for the Taiwan people profits, not just said only. Proverbs say “Actions speak louder than words”.

Movie- WALL STREET MONEY NEVER SLEEPS

     The movie wall street: Money never sleeps last week. It is a sequel to the 1987 film Wall Street. It was talking about the 2008 financial crisis. Micheal Douglas played leading role Gorden Gekko, who was be released from the jail. Gorden wants to get back to Wall Street market by helping Jacob, his son-in-law. The other reason is that he wants to repair his relationship with Winnie, her daughter. It is very complicated relationships to introduce the details. But the story reminds me to think the financial crisis. It is very close to now’s society.


     When I saw the book’s that name called “Is Greed good?” in the movie. I realized the word “Greed” that is full of the real world. It represents the people how “Greed” in the modern world. People use any kind of the methods to reach their goal. Everyone wants to be a reach man. Everyone wants to make easy money by stock buying. But the result is not you think. It brings more disaster to our society. The USA financial crisis in 2008 was the best example.

     People bought the house on credit. The bank cannot get the money back because the bed account. After the time pass by. The bad accounts become big trouble for the bank. Bankrupt issue spread to the financial market. It led the financial crisis from the 2008 till now. We are all the victims in the last time crisis. And I know we will still meet the next financial crisis cycle in the next ten years because our greed. People are hard to realize the lesson that we met. Otherwise we won’t become the normal person anymore. That is my conclusion.

My Good Friend

     My good friend his name is john, he is elder than me. I met him when we were in Army. He is my leader. He always take care me because he said that I was looking seems to little smaller than others. I feel he is very kind. We are all living in Taipei and we like to talk everything that we have fun. Sometime I just listen to what he said. Make sure to stop talking to listen, so he likes to talk to me. But we know listening to someone talk about feelings. It makes our relationship good. John and I are doing this way to develop our relation, and then we become to be good friend. He was sharing hearts with me as often as I am. It let us understand each other. And we know how to build our relationship for both.


     When we are in Army we met many things and problems. But we solve the things and problems when it came to us. This active is very important thing that we become a good friend. We help each other all the time. It is a key point that we are so close. And we can find the same language in our age. We know each other over ten years and we are still keeping in touch. I feel very happy.

     He is also funny guy. We make a lot of joke when we talking. How to tell a joke is very difficulty. John is interesting to tell the joke. He always makes me laughing. I don’t understand how he done this. I guess he was born to telling the joke. He is the wonderful and the best friend to me.

Egypt

     Egypt’s President Mubarak meet the people protest of step down issue due to the ruling Egypt over 30 years and didn’t change. Mubarak addressing the speech to youth Egyptian on Thursdays night said that he would transfer some powers to his deputy but would not step down until elections in September. Most protesters in Tahrir Square expressed their displeasure with Mubarak's speech and do not leave. But National dialogue treats it like the normal steps and would like to see the peaceful power transfer in Egypt. I think this is the small changed but it is the good start for the Egyptian.


     Mubarak makes the compromised to their people. He responded to the youth Egyptian. He said I am proud of you as the new Egyptian generation calling for a change to the better, dreaming and making the future. The Egypt people desire to change same as the world’s trend. We can remember that before long the election in USA. Obama said the change, change, change, it is populate and spread in the world now.

     In Taiwan, we have two major parties to monitor for each other. Therefore, our government can make the right decision to the people. In theory it should be bring better profit and life to people. But it still need people supervision. The Government will pay more attention to their job to bring more profit to serve people because they want to win the next election. The ruling party must be very careful because the people need changing the life better, otherwise, the protest will surround same as Egypt. We are finding many fraud cases even though the elected are still on their position do not step down. It needs to be clean out of our government. We are all want the bright future to our country.

Chinese New Year

     Chinese New Year is very busy because is very special day and important issue to Chinese people. We must to prepare many special things to get ready for this festival. For all of us, Chinese New year is the most important festival in the entire year. Before New Year, All family members get together on New Year's Eve to have a big meal. New Year meal is always delicious to eat; Chinese people think that have the meal together will bring good luck. The other important thing is remain some fish for the coming days. It means keeping fortune. At the same time, everyone celebrates to each other. After dinner, we often watch the performances on TV. After meal we will stay very late till the night. We called “守歲”. It makes us safe to live for the coming year.


     First day, we can’t touch any knife or scissor to avoid getting hurt. We will make another big New Year meal. Then we make “Good-luck wishes” and wear the new clothes to meet and greet New Year. Long time ago, Chinese people believed red color could bring our good luck. And we set off firecrackers could frighten ghosts away. Children like to go out and watch the fireworks. It is the happiest time in the night. On the first early morning of one year, many old people get up early and they stick the reversed Fu(福) or Spring(春) on the front door. It means that good lucky coming.

     The Chinese New Year lasts fifteen days. So during the fifteen days, we always visit our relatives from door to door. I will visit our friends and go out for a movie or do anything we like. Children are the happiest at that time because they can get the red packets from grandparents, uncles, aunts and so on. Then we will buy a lot of toys to play together. The last day of the Chinese New Year is another festival, it is called Lantern Festival. So the Chinese New Year comes to the end. We also prepare the meal to the family member and have the meal again to welcome the last day of the New Year.
